How Our Estate Sale Service Works
The Estate Pros tailor every estate sale to fit the specific needs of each of our clients. Our process is comprehensive and easy:
Start by scheduling a FREE consultation to discuss your specific needs & goals. When ready, choose a weekend to schedule your estate sale.
Once scheduled, advertising begins and your estate sale listing is posted to our national network of shoppers via the Estate Pros website, major estate sale industry websites, social media, etc.
Next, the Pros team will visit your home a few days prior to the estate sale in order to set up, merchandise and price all of your sale items using our boutique-style retail approach.
Let the selling begin! Your estate sale is managed and executed by our team of professionals over the course of a 1-3 day period (usually weekends).
After the estate sale, your settlement payment and detailed estate sale transaction report are issued within 7-10 business days.
To finish up, the Pros will empty your home by donating and cleaning out the remaining unsold items (if requested). The house is empty, broom swept & vacuumed and you’re done – it’s that easy!

It was a delight to meet the owner of this company and hear his thoughts on conducting an estate sale occasioned by our need to downsize as we approached our senior years. Circumstances arose that required us to do this quickly. Jonathan and his team really stepped up to the plate by outlining a timeline of what would happen and when it would happen to meet our deadline. His activity in preparing our home was close to Herculean. The sale itself was something we had never done before. Throughout the process Jonathan was readily available and very responsive if a question arose. It gave us great comfort in knowing we were working with such an experienced company. We chose to have The Estate Pros appraise and donate items that did not sell and to completely clear out our home in preparation for its eventual sale. Jonathan and his crew were outstanding. They were so organized as they moved through the house. It went smoothly due to many helpers working in unison under extreme humidity. They were confident and quick. This whole dual process(partnering with Habitat for Humanity) worked out for me as I had a small window of time to clean out a large, very loaded home. I am over the finish line thanks to their professional involvement.
For estate sale/donations they were fantastic, the move of the stuff we were keeping left a little to be desired but the ease of having them handle everything made up for it.
Everything was well cared for in the moving process. It was great to know that there was coordination, with Habitat for the furniture etc that were not being taken with us. They vacuumed and swept the empty rooms. The house was spotless. Jonathan did an amazing job from first contact of explaining exactly how their services worked through getting our estate sale all set up and answering any and all questions, till when the estate sale happened, it did not interrupt our lives or schedules at all. We did not need to be there on site or be involved in any way, we were able to trust him and his staff to handle everything and care for our property during the sale and when they were done, it was like a sale never even took place, except all the stuff being gone. We were shocked on how much stuff he was able to sell for us and the income he was able to generate from it. For us, it was a barn full of tools, machinery, farming equipment and tons of random clutter that sat around for years that I inherited after my father passed, and Jonathan sold almost all of it. It’s easy! It all starts with our free phone consultation where we explain the entire estate sale process: beginning with our free on-site consultation all the way through the post-sale wrap-up. From there, we will schedule a free on-site consultation.
As soon as you might need our services. Online sales or online pre-sales can start at anytime. We can schedule your on-site sale at your convenience but it’s best to notify us of your preferred sale date three to four weeks in advance to make sure we can fit you on our schedule.
The only thing you have to do is determine what you want to sell and what you want to keep. If you are keeping items that will remain on-site during the sale then we have to designate “safe areas” where you can store them during the duration of the sale. We will lock off those areas from the public. Large items will be marked as “not for sale” and can remain in place, all smaller items must be placed in a safe area.
We advertise on our site, all estate sale industry websites, as well as, social media and other online outlets. Between all our platforms, we have a subscription base in the thousands. Are sales are extremely well attended.
We will break down and remove our equipment, as well as, tidy up any necessary areas of the home. If elected, we will then schedule charity donation and trash removal.
